Initial post has been updated with the release notes of the new Beta 5.6.1.

If you experienced issues where the Smart Lock failed to unlatch properly this new Beta addresses this issue.
We would also like to hear from you if you still notice strange noises when the Smart Lock reaches the open edge.

Can you verify whether the yellow gear that connects the Nuki to the lock cylinder shaft is indeed intact? @JBUK72

On the video(s) it looks like the clutch is not engaging properly. i.e. the motor turns, but the key in the lock does not move.

Try setting it to a higher speed (e.g. standard) and check if the problem continues to occur.

In theory yes, because the startup behavior of the motor is influenced by parameters set in firmware. But there was no change of any such parameters from 5.6.1 to 5.6.2 to 5.6.3. Furthermore your videos point towards a mechanical issues. Therefore please follow up with support to get your problem sorted.

Was something changed regarding the latch problem. In an early update the door would unlock and the motor blocked and did not release the latch (Nuki Ultra Pro had to be unmount). This lead to a broken yellow gear after some time. Now with the new update it started again by not releasing the latch.
