When my lock is around 46 % it will most the matter connection

When I plug the cable in to the lock the connection is up

I am having problems with my Nuki Smart Lock Pro 4th Gen and the Matter integration with HomeKit (EDIT: I SHOULD SAY ā€œAPPLE HOMEā€).
Basically, I canā€™t add my Nuki to the Home app anymore. I have raised a support case and (540557), to my surprise, I got this answer from NUKI:

Are we then saying that Nuki has now decided to suddenly remove support for Apple Home over Matter?

The Nuki 4.0 (Pro) lock was never HomeKit compatible. However, via Matter it is possible to add the lock into the Apple Home app. You might need multiple approaches to get the lock ā€œregisteredā€ though.

Itā€™s just a mixup of terms:

  • HomeKit = Proprietary smart home standard of Apple

  • Matter = New smart home standard which is supported by Apple and other big players. Many of the ideas behind HomeKit are also present in Matter

  • Apple Home = Smart home platform of Apple that supports HomeKit and Matter.

  • Nuki Smart Lock 4th Gen has always supported Matter (via Thread) and through it integration into Apple Home and other Matter supported platforms like Google Home.

  • Nuki Smart Lock 2nd and 3rd Gen supports Homekit (via Bluetooth) and therefore also integration into Apple Home.

I am trying to connect my SLP4 to my Apple Home via MATTER (as stated in the ticket)
I will avoid mentioning HomeKIT from now on! Thanks

This thread is about the ā€œmissing notificationsā€ problem which exists since iOS/tvOS 17.4.

This problem has recently been resolved together with Apple and will be fixed in an upcoming Smart Lock 4th gen beta (and later on in a release). Smart Lock Ultra is not affected from it.

Yesterdays beta firmware 4.5.2 contains the fix of the notification problem for Smart Lock 4th Gen.
