I install LOCK 4.0 PRO WiFi to an apartment, for opening door on request over web API. But I’m totally disappointed by quality of WiFi connection.
Out of 20 attempts to open door over web.nuki.io, through mobile app, or by Web API, only 12 attempts succeed = 60% success. Other cases lead to various errors, mostly HTTP 423, or simply doing nothing. Many times the lock is offline.
Sometimes it unlocks but with 10 seconds delay.
I tested with 2 different modern WiFi routers, so don’t think that this is problem with router.
I wonder how manufacturer planned this WiFi version to work. It’s totally unreliable to unlock door at realtime. A visitor (of my rented apartment for example) is waiting in front of door, but it won’t open. Or it opens sometimes, randomly.
So my question is, why is the WiFi there? Do I really need to buy bridge, assuming that Bluetooth can wake up the lock from sleep?
I’m truly disappointed with this “PRO” lock that can’t even do things that Nuki Lock without WiFi does reliably (over Keypad or Bridge).
