this issue seems to happen on rare occasions and setups. We are currently investigating the problem with a new Keypad 2 firmware beta 2.5.0. Please sign up for the beta and report back in the beta thread, if you encounter the issue again.

Beta firmware has resolved the issue for me, as far as I can test anyways!
