I struggled to learn fingerprints on 1 of my 3 keypads for over 6 months now.

Currently on 2.3.2 and not in beta program.

This one is connected to an Opener, that is also connected to a bridge.

I have tried this with Samsung S24 Ultra, S25 Ultra and now S26 Ultra - and today even with an Iphone 17 Max.

Symptoms unchanged:

After successful pairing and entering open code the part for fingerprint learning it suddenly claims obscure error.506 which seems to be a sudden inability to com via Bluetooth - which is a nonsense error as BT worked fine to this point, and after… just not for learning fingerprints

After error.506 it claims to retry, which also fails in an endless loop, and and the keypad itself leaves maintenance mode way faster than the 3 minutes (the rotating blinking stops) - essentially right after the first error.506 and no matter what the app says it would try, from reconnect to “reboot keypad” does anything to the keypad… :frowning:

Will this beta finally have proper error messages here, or even be able to.learn prints as expected and known to work?

Do I need to get into “developer beta” to get this beta on my device to continue trying to use THE core function of Keypad 2 that justifies its price?

And if yes, how?

PS: UPDATE: needless to say I struggled another 2 hours today trying all sorts of hacks and workarounds I could read about - including unpair/factory reset/re-add/re-disconnect, new users, new codes and what not… the symptoms remained the same

I’d try to remove the Keypad from the Opener, factory reset it and re-add it to the Opener again.
If that does not fix it please contact customer support via the Nuki App (Menu > Help > Contact Customer Support) as this is an individual issue which requires to share logs and other sensitive informations.
