this weekend I was setting up my Opener and during the process I had to start the Wizard a second time. By then, I couldn’t find my Siedle device in the list of intercoms anymore. In fact, I couldn’t find Siedle at all anymore.
I contacted support and today I finally got an answer which said that Siedle as a whole is not supported anymore since January 17th.
Here’s the (translated) message I received:
Since January 17th 2025, we have discontinued our official support for Siedle door intercom systems in conjunction with the Nuki Opener following a previous request from SSS Siedle (S. Siedle & Söhne, Telefon- und Telegrafenwerke OHG).
Siedle door intercom systems are therefore no longer included in our compatibility list.
In order to meet our own quality standards, we have decided in consultation with Siedle to discontinue official support for Siedle door intercoms for the Nuki Opener.

I don’t think it’s a great business practice to discontinue a whole intercom vendor without any previous announcement. I can’t even find any official announcement apart from the support email I received. And to top everything off, Siedle is still in the compatibility list on the Website, i.e. the thing you look at before buying an Opener: Opener | Nuki The Smart Lock
