Hi @PhilippA ist not the hight, its to narrow to slide on the nob of the abus lock. I thing the diameter isnt correct. I will do another testprint and test it this evening.
I got another Problem with the Baseplate i didnt. figure out before. If nuksize=true, the nuki lock dosent lock itself in the Basepolate properly. I thing its because there is a smal Gap between the cylinder and the Baseplate i made some testprints now with reduced thicknes of the Plate so the cylinder will sit straight on the Plate. Hope this works. I will keep u informed.
Second thing. Maybe u open the discussion forum on the github Page, so we can discuss this there without spamming this forum
Quick question: Is it possible to replace the ring with the Nuki logo with a custom one that spans the full length? The idea is to make it look more clean. Maybe it is also an option to cover it with metal tape to achieve the same look as the lock body?
Many countries use a more advanced version of the cylinder lock with a gear (ie. Heracles Y7 + gear cylinder 10 teeth), and the included Nuki cylinder cannot replace the geared cylinder. Iām not sure how Nuki could have overlooked something like thisā¦
Finally managed to get my hands on a Nuki Ultra. Here are the dimensions of the inner part of the yellow slot: 2.6mm x 7.4mm. So if you want to cut your key, you need to get it down to these dimensions. Depending on how much your cylinder sticks out, the left over length needs to be between 7mm and 11mm.
Kind of sad that Nuki didnāt release the new Pro with the Ultra. The Pro is basically what many of us wanted from the beginning and what this mod is supposed to archive. Now with the Pro this thread is obsolete. I am returning my Ultra to get the Pro. Could have saved a lot of time and money as I now have an extra key that I was going to cut but donāt need to anymore.
