I came home and nothing worked on my Keypad 2.0 (NFC)
SW:2.4.11
Neither code nor fingerprint.
What was really strange, though, was that my wife AND son had been able to get in just an hour earlier – but only with one (2 are stored for each person) fingerprint. The others were already showing errors.
When I checked the app status of the keypad, both the code and ALL fingerprints had been deleted.
When I re-checked with my wife and son wife they couldn’t get in either. It was as if someone had remotely reset the keypad.
After re-pairing the fingerprints, everything is working again. But this shouldn’t happen.
If I can help with logs or anything like that, please let me know. Also, from what I see checking the threads here, this issue isn’t reported for the first time.
Hello,
the issue reported here is most likely related to the Smart Lock which seems to not advertise via Bluetooth anymore. (I assume you have a 5th Generation Smart Lock.)
If this happens, a Keypad can’t connect to the Smart Lock anymore. Then a fingerprint or PIN code can’t unlock the door. If the App also can’t connected to the Smart Lock, the Nuki App, can’t show the PIN codes under Keypad settings. This leads to the impression that the codes are gone, but actually they are just not shown in the Nuki App.
We are currently investigating the problem with a new Smart Lock beta 5.8.4. Please sign up for the beta and report back in the beta thread, if you encounter the issue again. Smart Lock Ultra/Pro/Go Firmware Beta 5.8.x
