Not really…
I installed a switch bot that pushes the open button.
As soon as the noise detection feature will be released for HomePods I will create an automation to open the door as soon as it rings and I‘m coming home.

Hello Jörn, i’m looking for a general solution as you mentioned with switch bot? Have you already implemenedt it?

I was maybe going to call an electrician and see if he could do it for the REK241Y as well.

I am as well facing the challenge to open the Elcom REK241y remotely. Is there any news of success?

Just ordered a Switchbot… Joern could you post a picture of how you mounted it? Seems like a lot of pressure is needed…

Hey there,

I mounted a small piece of wood to the wall and attached the SwitchBot to it, ensuring it perfectly pressed the opener.

Unfortunately, after two years, the motor broke, and I had to replace the SwitchBot. I still haven’t found the perfect solution for opening the door exactly when I need it.

Until a few months ago, I had an automation that triggered the SwitchBot as soon as I got home. However, this caused it to activate more often than necessary, likely leading to its premature failure.
