Summary

Add Unlocks as a trigger option for Google Home automation.

Features

I have a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 integrated with Google Assistant and right now is possible to trigger a Google Home automation when the door locks or jams.
I’d like to also be able to trigger a routine when the door opens/unlocks.

Reason

The integration with Google Assistant is already in place but, in my opinion, it lacks an important feature that would complete the Nuki features.

Examples

Being able to turn on a light or receive a notification when the Door is opened.

Any updates on this?

I would also like to see this implemented since i used IFTTT for automating stuff when the door unlocks (starting music on sonos speakers in the office, turning on the lights, etc).

But since IFTTT integration with nuki is gonna be canceled soon, i like to migrate this to the Google system.

I successfully managed to migrate the lock automation (turning off the shelly controlled lights and pauzing the music) but cant migrate the unlock one….

Is it possible that after the deactivation of the IFTTT integration also the Google Home integration has stopped working fine? I haven’t been able for a few weeks to create an automation with both the standard UI and the scripting UI that triggers an automation when the door is locked or unlocked.

No, the Google Home integration is working fine.
Please report your issue to Nuki customer support for further investigation.
