I might be missing something but my issue is that I can’t physically remove the lock from my door.
I’ve done so in the past when I had to have it replaced because of BT issues.
But now after removing the batteries and pressing on the yellow bolt the bottom part loosens up, but the lock remains stuck in place firmly.
My brother in law has a Nuki as well and we are both experiencing similar difficulties - the lock won’t come off!
Hope you can give us some advice on how to proceed - mine’s Ok but it’s a rented apartment and eventually I’ll have to move, and his has WIFI issues and needs to be replaced.
