Timeframe for Shutdown of API Token Authentication

Hi,

After years of using a Nuki Pro 2.0 with a Bridge and integrating the Lock via the HTTP-API in my KNX System , I recently switched to a Nuki Ultra which doesn’t support the Bride and therefore the Bridge API anymore. After fiddling around I finally managed to integrate the lock via HTTPS-Request and API Token as the authentication mechanism. But according to the API documentation this feature (API Tokens) will be shut down (sunset) in the feature. Is there a timeframe when this will happen, and will there be an easy and convenient way for authentication after this - OAuth2 seems to be a bit overkill for a non developer like me.

Hi Oliver,

Welcome to the forum

There is currently no official communication on a sunset date for API tokens, but we will ensure that 1) everyone will be informed well in advanced and will be given sufficient time to migrate, and 2) that there will still be a way for you to conveniently and securely integrate in the future.
