When firmare 5.6.9 became available, I updated. I think I previously was on 5.5.10 (not sure).
My Nuki is connected via Matter to my Homey 2023, and then via HomeKitty added to Apple Home. Homey has the option to share a Matter-device, but this would not work for the Nuki: using the generated Matter code the Nuki would not be added to Apple Home.
The result of this setup was that the lock could be unlatched via Apple Home/Siri.
After installing 5.6.9 it is not possible anymore to unlatch the lock via Apple Home, the lock will only unlock (so the door stays closed). Apple Home has no option to unlatch, this means that the unlock command unlatched the lock.
5.6.x brought some “open door” improvements and an update to Matter 1.4.1.

Does it mean that this, what other user in the above topic perceived as issue, is not happening anymore?
While I do understand their point of view, to me this was ‘issue’ was why I got the lock and why my partner approved it. What is an issue for one, can be an important feature for others.
So how will I be able to unlock the door via Homekit?
