Hey everyone,
I’m running into a frustrating issue with my Nuki Smart Lock and wanted to see if anyone else has had the issue as well — or found a solution.
Whenever I try to calibrate the lock, it seems to work fine at first: the motor turns smoothly and starts locking as I would expect. But once it reaches the mechanical end — where the key physically can’t turn any further because the door is fully locked — the process fails with error 4A: Motor Blocked.
But here’s the thing: this behavior is normal. The motor is hitting the physical stop, which means the lock is doing what it should. I’ve even tested the device off the door, and the motor moves freely, resets correctly, and can be turned manually without any resistance.
Is there really no way to get this lock working again? Any insight or help from the community (or the Nuki team) would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Julien
