Same here. As it helped before leaving it for some minutes without the batteries, it canāt connect to matter anymore with 4.5.2. All HomePods and Apple TVs are on 18.2, and it doesnāt help either to turn off and on the remote control in the Nuki settings.
Also tried with turning off, taking the batteries out for some minutes, and turning it on again after that.

Is this firmware still in beta or is GA?
Initial post has been updated with the release notes of the new Beta 4.5.3
This Beta adds multiple feature related improvements, such as enhancements for the unlatch behavior, overall stability for WiFi and Thread as well as minor tweaks for the error 0xFE as well as the MQTT API. In general with this build the overall system stability shall be improved to a new level of availability.
Please provide your feedback on the Beta via this thread
I was cautiously optimistic, but after 2 days, both of my SL4.0 Pro became unavailable (in HomeKit and Home Assistant) after switching to Matter remote access with 4.5.3. Back to WiFi againā¦
Dear all, since update to the latest beta 4.5.3 there is no āunlockā (without unlatch) option available in the APP. Furthermore the status is shown wrong as well, even if the door is unlocked it is shown as locked in the APP. In addition due to the missing āunlockā it seems that also an unlock command via HTTPS leads to an unlatch and fully opened door which is definitely not ok. In our daily routine the door is command via Loxone to unlock at a defined time in the morning, since the update I found the door always open in the morning which is very strange. Anyone witnessed the same?
Kindly ask for a feedback from the Nuki Dev Team.
If you tap here you should see the other options:
If you want to have the āunlockā option as default, select the door fitting to āLeverā within the Smart Locks settings:
Thanks Marc, however if tested also the time control actions with the same result. An āunlockā time command leads to an āopenedā door. This is definitely wrong and I have to deactivate the function due to security reasons. Hope the Nuki team can help.
An unlock time control entry should never pull the latch.
Does it show up in the activity log as āUnlockedā or āOpened doorā?
If it is shown as āUnlockedā, try to perform a calibration.
Hi Marc, thanks for your help. Now it works again. It was confusing since this happened after the update, I havenāt changed anything else. After calibration it is OK now.
