It started to report “recharge” tonight (checked trough HomeAssistant history) and current battery level is 62%
The only difference found vs previous FW is… this wrong report of “recharge”
This evening I will try to remove battery and see if the problem goes away (as I expect)
As I was eexpecting, removing and reinserting the battery solved the problem…
Now it doesn’t report anymore that it is recharging
I wonder why it did happen… was it a FW (new) bug?
PS it is funny that you cannot write “was” “expecting” because it detects the word “s” “e” “x” which is not allowed … even if there’s space between “(wa)s” and “ex(pecting)…”
How much does the battery discharge in 1 day in percentage terms?
Is it your joke? Ask question just for fun?
I wonder if someone from Nuki is monitoring these posts…
I bought this lock a couple of weeks ago. I am interested in all the information about it.
Again the same problem…
At this point it’s definitely a fw issue…
Pls solve it…
Thanks
Again the problem… and this time not after a battery recharge…
At one point I see the battery as if it’s recharging… but it’s not!
a new problem…
Yesterday I got notification (and email) about my Nuki Door Sensor battery down…
But now the situation is the following:
Update oct 25th, 2025
Again the same problem of fake recharge status…
I wonder if someone from Nuki is monitoring this forum… and does have any interest to fix those kind of problems
My feeling is that these kind of report are totally ignored…
Again… and again…
Does Nuki want to consider fixing this problem or not?
I want that you note that we are talking about Nuki Power Pack, so the battery that you are suggesting… that should work perfectly…
Thanks
Hi.
I have a Smart Lock 3.0 Pro and I’m on 3.10.7 SW since 07.08.2024.
Today it’s quite 1,5 year that this product is not receiving any SW update. I’m not looking for new features but since Nuki is protecting my house door entrance my concern is on the cyber security side. Every internet connected device is receiving tons of update every months, Bluetooth is well none for wide spread CVE. What about our Nuki 3.0 Pro? Can we have some statement from Nuki on product cyber security long life development? Is my Nuki device still protect and safe?
Absolutely. As long as your firmware is up to date and no further updates are available, your device remains secure. No relevant vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Smart Lock’s current functions, and we will post an announcement immediately if a critical security update is released.
Will this release stay at beta stage forever?
The longevity of this beta release looks really strange. And of course only newer models benefit from server side optimisations.
It looks a test version without anything to test.
Last week-end I observed the same behavior as @spanzetta with my door sensor. Since I changed the door sensor battery the alert is gone from the app as it seams but before changing the battery, it was reported as “OK” in the door sensor information even within having the notification.
