3.10.7 was released in August last year. Immediately after a release there is always a beta release, because betas contain additional logging and in order to be able to collect logs from the Smart Locks in the beta pool a new beta is released. This beta very often has the same content than the release. 3.11.0 was therefore released in August 2024 too.
Because there were updates made to the firmware which we want test in the field. When this updates have user facing components or specific areas that we want you to take a look at, this is mentioned in the release notes. If there is nothing specific mentioned, these are often updates to underlying libraries, SDKs or small bug fixes which should improve the general stability of the Smart Lock, but not change any behavior. The collected statistics from the beta devices allow us to prove that.
