Hi all,
we are planning physical access control for our house and love Nuki in our apartment. What is different to any other conventional physical access control system is the auto unlock when approaching. We would like to have this feature in our house as well, but I am not sure about the future of Nukis Smart Door. It seems there are not that many users
- Is there any official guarantee from Nuki about product lifecycle? I see a huge hole in our door(s) when Nuki discontinues the product already
- There is also not any deeper technical documentation about features (e.g. is auto lock at a specific time, night mode, auto unlock when approaching/BT connection is established, etc. possible)?
- Can we lock/unlock/unlatch door via local (Bridge) API and/or via Web API?
Overall a conventional system like DormaKaba seems more future-proof and offers all the features above, but no auto unlock when approaching the door. Also I do not want to setup a server just for opening 2-3 doors
Any input and thoughts would be appreciated!
Cheers
Tobi
