Hello everyone,
I am looking for help regarding a Nuki Opener installed on a Fermax 3390 VDS intercom system.
The Opener is able to unlock the building door, but since its installation several residents have reported random malfunctions affecting the building intercom system:
- Audio noise, interference and crackling sounds;
- Doorbell calls not always being received;
- Intermittent operation and door release issues on some handsets;
- Malfunctions that appear to affect the building entrance panel itself.
The issue is difficult to reproduce because it is not permanent, but multiple neighbours have noticed these problems since the Nuki Opener was installed.
The Opener itself works, however the batteries drain unusually fast. When I connect the Opener, the bus voltage drops from approximately 16V to 15V. I have also had to replace with a new one the Opener unit several times.
I have tested several wiring diagrams found on the Nuki forum and in community documentation, but I have not been able to completely eliminate these disturbances.
At this point, it appears that the Nuki Opener may be interfering with the building’s VDS bus.
I would be very interested in hearing from other users with Fermax VDS installations:
- What wiring configuration are you using?
- Which Opener firmware version are you running?
- Have you experienced similar interference, audio noise, or bus instability?
- Is there an officially recommended configuration for Fermax VDS systems that avoids disturbing the shared bus?
My current wiring is:
Black → +
Red → L
Yellow → L
Any feedback, advice, or experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
