Seam Integration

Hi Nuki team,

I’m trying to connect my Nuki smart lock(s) with Lodgify, but I’m running into some issues and would really appreciate your guidance.

I currently manage three Nuki devices, although my goal is to start by connecting just one device successfully before scaling to the others.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • I created a Nuki Web / Seam account
  • When I try to add my Nuki device there, I consistently get a message saying that the password is incorrect, even though I’m sure I’m using the right credentials
  • After reading through the forum, I understand that for integrations like Lodgify an API key or API access might be required

The challenge is that I’m not a technical user, and I’m not sure:

  • Whether I’m following the correct setup process
  • If I need to generate an API token first
  • Or how exactly I should authenticate the device so that Lodgify can connect properly

Could you please advise:

  1. The correct steps to connect one Nuki device to Lodgify
  2. Whether an API key/token is required and where to generate it
  3. Why the Seam account might be rejecting the password when adding a device
