My Smart Lock Pro 4th gen has broken less than a year since I have purchased, and I am surprised that Nuki’s customer service says it doesnt have warranty because I purchase it from Amazon.
So I have bought the lock on 14 Mar 2024. And since a month ago it started to show the classical “motor blocked 0X07” message which many have experienced. Now I am not surprised because many are obviously saying that Nuki’s locks are quite undurable. And when I told the customer service about this they simply tell me that the lock is defective and basically finished. The customer service was actually quite polite and replied promptly, but they also told me that because I bought the lock from Amazon there is nothing they can do about it. They asked me to talk to Amazon - which actually provides no warranty because it’s after the 30 days return period.
Now I have this over 250 pounds Nuki lock which lasted less than a year.
So from my experience, I have two recommendations. First, don’t buy Nuki locks as they are really undurable. Search “motor blocked Nuki” and you will know I am telling the truth. Second, if you insist of buying, never buy from Amazon. Get them directly from Nuki.
