Possible bug, no notification when using Lock 'n' Go via the button

Just fitted my Nuki. This seems like a bug but if I double press the button to Lock ‘n’ Go, there’s no indication to me that the door successfully locked as I walk away, except the noise of the lock. If I activate Lock ‘n’ Go via the app (the Android widget to be specific) I get a tone when the door locks. If for example I didn’t pull the handle up, it’s possible the door wouldn’t lock and I wouldn’t know about it. This makes me a bit untrusting of the lock. I need some kind of feedback.

Thanks

Ah sorry. Might be worth tweaking the channel description as I read this as being a room for non dev stuff. It would be nice if there was a space for non developer questions/comments tbh.

and general discussion on all topics regarding Nuki products.

No worries and wasn’t meant to discourage discussion here.

In your case, it’s not a bug. You could activate “locking actions” notifications in the App so that you are actively notified if the door locks after the Lock ‘n’ Go.

Thanks for the reply. If I click ‘Notifications’ in the Nuki app settings, it opens the ‘Nukiweb’ page, the same as if I’d clicked the Nukiweb option above. Not sure if this is supposed to happen, I assumed the app was telling me my device needed to be online to alter notifications (I don’t have a bridge).

Yes, for notifications to work you need to have Nuki Web enabled, and thus a Nuki Bridge or the integrated WiFi setup in Smart Lock Pro 3rd and 4th Generation. More information can be found here https://support.nuki.io/hc/en-us/articles/360019996678-Manage-notifications
Hope that helps, have a great day

As a bit of feedback, it’s a bit odd and inconsistent a user without a bridge doesn’t get a notification here. I think it’s important the user knows the door has locked successfully to trust it. Doesn’t seem like it’s a technical limitation given auto-unlock triggers a tone without a bridge.
