Opener issues with HTS 711-01 (only on some days)


I have the Opener attached to a HTS 711-01 intercom. Everything seems to work as expected, ring to open, opening via app etc.

But I have a strange issue that is difficult to reproduce: On some days it doesn’t work meaning when I open via app it says “opening…” and then “open” but I don’t hear the buzzer. I then try it again but it still doesn’t work no matter how often I try further. The only thing to make it working again is to ring the bell once! Then I can open via app again. So somehow ringing the bell “unblocks” something. :thinking:
Another observation I made: In case the opener doesn’t work, it also doesn’t work anymore to use the opener button on the intercom. After ringing the bell, it works again too. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

It’s hard to reproduce. Let’s say if it is working, then I can try to open it 3 or 4 times (in the hope to reproduce that error) but it always opens it and I can hear the buzzer. So I’m running out of ideas what condition lead to this strange behavior.
Did you experience something similar?
Do you have any ideas what else I could try to at least reproduce it?
Does it more sound like an issue with the software or the hardware?
