I have an issue where the PIN of an opener is lost. As the Opener is not accessible through the APP I need to find a way to hard-reset the Opener without the use of the App. Any experiences on this issue?
You don’t need the Opener in your App in order to perform a factory reset. You can reset any Nuki device to which you have physical access by choosing Menu > Help > Opener factory reset in the Nuki App.
Jürgen, thank you for your help!
Jürgen, I tried to proceed as recommended. Opener is flashing 15 times in 15 seconds but connection can not be established. Any suggestions? (IOS 15.2)
Please contact our support via the Nuki App (Menu > Help > Contact Customer Support) for further help.
Nuki App (Menu > Help > Contact Customer Support) does not work if you lost the security pin
When I’m trying the @Juergen then it connects and after a while its says: Um deinen Opener zurückzusetzen, musst du dich in Bluetooth-Reichweite befinden. Fehlercode: 506.
My Phone Google Pixel 9Pro is literally just next to the opener.
same issue here… cant reset that Opener… Google Pixel 9Pro
@mikeschwede and @Duc_Nguyen Can you tell us more details? Here some hints
Q1: Do you have Bridge in place? If so try to unplug for a moment and try again only using BT from mobile ->Opener .
Q2: How is your battery situation (Opener)? Just changed? In case you have an USB cable nearby you can try with this
Q3: Is the issue permanent or is it an unstable connection? Did you repeat the steps several times?
Q4: Maybe switching on/off/on BT on the Google Pixel 9Pro helps
