Opener is not reachable when using Apple Watch without iPhone. There seems not to be any settings which can be configured to enhance any connection between the opener and the Apple Watch. Any ideas?

I am also having this problem. My Apple Watch does not seem to be able to connect to the Opener if I am out of Bluetooth range unless I open up my iPhone. Then it connects. Defeats the purpose of having the app for the Apple watch.
Is this behaviour still reproducible with version 2023.7.1?
