after a script creates different PINs for guests, I noticed that Nuki does not allow more than 21 created PINs. If I want to add another PIN via API or web interface, the message “Authorization not possible” appears.
When I delete PINs, I can add PINs again (up to a total of 21). Is this a setting that I have overlooked?
I have now answered it myself after a long trial and error: A PIN must be unique. It must not occur again on the same device - even if it is a different validity period.
Would have been nice to read that also in the docu near “How to generate a PIN”. So it cost me some hours.
