Possible bug here with Nuki App iOS and Nuki Ultra when enabling Matter.
Symptoms:
Matter enable button pressed and after a long wait the message appears “must be in Bluetooth range”
Solution:
Switch off Nuki Ultra WiFi connection, then the matter enabling and pairing completes as expected.

What I found confusing, was that after pairing my 4.0 Pro via Matter (and indeed: I had to switch off WiFi first), the “bell” in the upper right corner of the Nuki app showed a “red warning”. The “warning” was…. “WiFi is switched off”! It appears to me that the app does not check if Matter is enabled.

As an ultra user it seems a few unsupported features also give the generic error “make sure you’re in Bluetooth range”. But I may be wrong

Which version of the app did you use?
We released a Hotfix last week (2024.12.2) which is currently in rollout where this behaviour should be fixed.
Best regards
