Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 - turning motor becomes very slow

Hi all,

I have had a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 for 2 years and it is not used very often, about 2-4 times a day.

For a week now, the motor has been turning very slowly and with effort to open the door. It is a light door, where the lock can be opened and closed very easily. So it can’t be the door’s fault.

The Nuki also makes this slow and heavy movement when the door is open and I lock and unlock it, for example.

I had the same problem with my 1 Series back then - after 24 months ± the Nuki was barely usable.

What are your experiences?
