I don’t understand why everyone is making such a fuss about Matter.

The first prototype shows that we are already working very concretely on integration possibilities with Matter. We expect the first Matter-enabled devices from Nuki in the second half of 2023.
I think it’s the middle of 2023, so what does that look like?

Will there be any update on this? Will we need to buy a new bridge or a new lock?
Be nice to get some sort of answer given that several other companies are announcing such features

It seems like the new hardware was revealed. Nothing much has changed on the exterior except for the thread chip for Matter compatibility.
There haven’t been any updates regarding a matter update for older devices. I know that updating the devices to support thread won’t be possible (I guess) since they don’t have the needed hardware. But updating the bridge would make it possible to support Matter over IP! So I hope Nuki can make that happen
