Nuki Opener - Hue: after IFTTT

Hi everbody, I have a Nuki Opener and a Hue Bridge. So far I have connected them with IFTTT, so if somebody rings, all relevant lights flash. After Nuki now ends the IFTTT support I am looking into an alternative. I tried to set it up in Alexa, but it only show looked, undlocked and blocked as event, while I would need ring or somthing similar. I tried to reconnect the Nuki skill in Alexa, but nothing changed. Can somebody help me? Thank you!!!

same here! IFTTT integration was perfect for that! I can’t believe Nuki has stopped supporting it

Hi Tobias,

What is the use case you need to execute for the Nuki Opener? What is the trigger and expected outcome?

Hi,

When somebody rings at the door specific lamps from Hue Flash. Our doorbell is not really loud and we have a small child. So the visual is really helpful.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks Poonam for looking into this. I really need a way to make my Hue lights flash when someone rings at the opener. IFTTT was great for that

Thank you

Hi,

The triggers for an Opener are “unlocked” and “locked” in the Alexa routines, similar to Smart Lock.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t work when the Opener is opened via Ring to Open as it doesn’t seem to trigger Unlocked in the Alexa rountine.

Could you please create a feature request for the Opener triggers in Alexa/ Google Home so this can be added to the roadmap?

Hi Pooram, I am sorry, I am probably missing something here.
We (Tobias’s needs are like mine) need a trigger for “someone rang the bell”. This occurs before locking or unlocking anything.

Am I wrong?

Thank you
