Nuki Opener: Exchanging incompatible release buzzer

Dear Community,

I am really eager to install the Nuki Opener in my rented appartment, however, my release buzzer (SKS HT-4600) is not compatible with it. Therefore, I am thinking about replacing the whole thing with a buzzer that is compatible, after asking my landlord for permission, of course.

My question is: Has anyone ever done this before? Is it even possible to replace an existing buzzer with a buzzer from a different brand, if the rest of the house still uses the original one?

Yes you can replace it, you just have to look what system (bus (digital) or 3+n,4+n,5+n (analog)), and than take a device with the same system, and what is in the nuki compatibility list.
