as far as I know it connects just like the opener, only having different features (namely using the voice com, but not having ring to open - but ring to open could be done using home assistant)

Hi there - Did I buy into a scam? Website said it’s compatible, installation went just like most here with the Opener not opening the door from app neither from Door Bell. Nuki knowing this issue since at least 8 month and changing NOTHING, makes me feel betrayed.

@Mhuber did ring intercom work for you? I’m having the same problems and nuki support is really slow and just sends my basic information with stuff i already tried (and informed them about that). Since i can’t let the opener in connected state since my BTS 850-02 isn’t working then, i always have to revert and reconnect again for testing. I’m thinking about to sell all my nuki products (i ordered every product from them) to switch to ring because of the bad support…
UPDATE: @Marcel_Urban helped me via PN and by phone and with his help i could get the whole setup working! THANK YOU very much Marcel! We had to measure the polarization of Ta and Tb (red and black cable from the wall/original intercom connector) and it was swapped! The red cable was - and the black cable was + in our house. After exchanging the cables i could get further in the installation process! I could open the door and the bell worked. Furthermore it was important to confirm within the installation wizard, that ring to open works although it didn’t work while setup! This is important! After that you can get into the Nuki app where you find the ready configured Opener and you have to change the ring to open delay to 3 seconds or more. After settings this, the ring to open function also worked. As i already told Marcel, it would be very helpful to create a video how to measure the polarization of the bus system correctly to show the customers how they can check for possible swappings.

Although I see that you were already able to fix the issue with help of the support - very happy for you - yes, the Ring Opener worked immediately.
The cause why the ring is directly working is that ring has an autodetection of the polarization of the bus cables. So if you connected it the wrong way, the ring device will automatically swap it for you.
