I’ve been successfully using the Nuki Bridge with the Smart Lock 4 (non-Pro) for over a year, integrated with my Loxone system via the local API. However, after updating the smart lock firmware a couple of weeks ago, I started experiencing significant issues.
The bridge has become unstable — at times it works perfectly, while at other times it fails to respond to API requests entirely. In some cases, it appears unresponsive but still executes lock/unlock commands. Similarly, callbacks are only working intermittently.
Initially, I suspected a hardware issue with the bridge, but I’ve since tested a brand new bridge and encountered the same erratic behavior. The instability is present both via the API and the Nuki app. Additionally, when connecting to the lock via Bluetooth, there’s now a noticeable delay of up to 10 seconds on the “connecting” screen.
I’ve seen similar reports tied to firmware version 4.4.0. Is this a known issue? Any guidance or confirmation would be appreciated.
