I have a problem with my Nuki 3.0 pro. My setup is like this:
I have a apple tv and a homepod mini both set as homekit bridge.
The apple tv is in my living room an the homepod mini is 1 meter away from the lock so really close!
In a lot of the cases the lock is turning up as not responding in homekit.
It works but like 80% of the times it’s not so that is a bit of a bummer and I don’t know how to fix this.
I tought maybe replace the homepod mini for a second apple tv that is really close to the lock but not sure if that will help.
All the devices are on the latest software version and all in the same network.
It’s the lock connected through its internal WiFi? If you, check if the connection is stable. More people are having issues with this and it would explain why it doesn’t always respond.
So yes it’s connected to wifi and probably that will work if you use the Nuki app but for homekit it uses the Bluetooth low frecency right so thats why the homepod is close to it.
Unresponsive accessories on Homekit is actually one of the Common issue which most of us are facing.
Firstly A Stable and Common Internet Connection on all your connected devices is a must .
Restart and Reconnect your Nuki to Homekit .
You can also update the Bridge if its connected ,( you dont need it but although.).
And ofcourse there are some troubleshooting ways to solve if Nuki is not working on Homekit .
