Night mode not working

Smart lock 2.0 night mode has switched it self off in the app after working fine for a number of years . Now I get error code 23 no wifi or bluetooth when I attempt to reconfigure night mode whilst both wifi and bluetooth connection are available according to the app.

What have I done wrong?
