I have purchased a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 after having success with my Nuki Opener but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with my current Rim Lock that has a pull lever on the inside. I want to keep the Smart Lock, but replace the Rim Lock, any recommendations?
Be carefull with Rim Locks,
I have one and on the nuki website the ‘test your lock’ said I was compatible (there’s no mention of rim locks on this test), so I bought the Nuki, but after 2 month of perfect use, it started to malfunction…
Nuki support eventually said that the issue was because I had a rim lock and all rim locks would be a problem in the end…
A rim lock with a euro profile cylinder should not be different than a mortise euro cylinder lock (from Smart Lock point of view).
