Features

Opening and closing front doors natively via Smart Things would be very useful to use in routines or scenarios.

Reason.

  • There is currently no more direct solution to integrate Nuki without a Hub, Virtual Switches and IFTTT.
  • Easier for laymen to integrate Nuki into the Smart Things Enviroment.
  • Android alternative to Apple Homekit.

Examples

  1. Connect it to a smart tag as this is a lot more reliable (and faster) than fobs.
  2. Open my door via Bixby.
  3. Open the door in the Smart Things app.

It’s not exactly the requested feature, but 4th gen Smart Locks can be connected locally via Matter to a Matter (+Thread) enabled Smart Things hub.
