I was told by Nuki support (ticket 904101) to post in this forum for assistance, I’ll paste the same info I’ve already told them:
I’ve got a Nuki Smart Lock 3 Pro on the latest firmware (3.10.7), it’s connected to Home Assistant using the mosquitto broker and was working great for more than a year but now for the last few months there occasionally is a seemingly random delay between sending mqtt unlock/open command and the lock actually unlocking/opening. It doesn’t happen on each mqtt command but when it does it’s very frustrating and takes several minutes before nuki actually unlocks.
I suspect that the device sometimes goes into a power saving/sleep mode even though I’ve enabled performance mode and I frequently recharge the nuki battery pack (I have 2). A wifi access point is 1m away from it, on a 2.4Ghz channel and the signal is always strong.
These problems are becoming very frustrating for my family and I would like to find a solution as soon as possible.
