Still impossible to update keypad pro 2, stays in 2.1.3. Since may. I tried to contact the support, no solution yet ( reset, log…)
Frequent deconnexion of the pad, everyday…
Any help?

@Okko Hi, what Bluetooth connection improvements have been made? Is the keypad now faster to react and doesn’t take 3-10 seconds to open the door? I’m talking about the non pro version.

Is the pro version faster in general? This can also be used with batteries and adhesives, right?

@oSIRus : Hello Kersten,
we have changed some settings for establishing the BLE connections between the Keypad and the Smart Lock. This leads to a faster and more constant timing for the initial BLE connection. In our tests we experience 1…2 seconds. In generell there should not be any connection attempt that takes longer than 6 seconds.
The changes are valid for the Keypad 2 and Keypad 2 Pro. Both Keypads have the same performance.

Regarding your additional Keypad 2 Pro questions:

  • Yes. Keypad 2 Pro can be used with Batteries too.
  • No. Keypad 2 Pro is designed to be flush-mounted. We are not offering adhesives for the Keypad 2 Pro.

We are looking forward for your feedback on the Keypad 2 Beta FW 2.3.0. You should have a faster and smoother opening experience now.

I have a SL4P, already in the beta program on firmware 4.3.9
