Keypad 2.0 not accepting new PIN codes

Hi,

So I initially created a PIN and added fingerprints to it and it worked fine. PIN or fingerprint all great.

I tried to add a new PIN, the Android app said all is good but the PIN does not work. The lock complaints it was an incorrect PIN. Great. So I added a fingerprint to see if that changes anything. It did, the fingerprint works but the PIN still does not work.

Obviously all latest firmware. One odd thing is that it most of the times I try to enter a PIN it does that Kitt thing where the LED don’t blink but so a left right thing/animation. No idea why it it does that. Eventually it calms down and I can enter the PIN which does not work. Only the old, first added one does.

This animation means that the Smart Lock is trying to send a command to the lock. This could be a complete 6 digit pin or the back key (when locking via back key is active) or a fingerpint.

If you did not type in anything it was either the fingerprints capacitive element reporting that a finger has been placed on it (You might try to clean the sensor area or take off the keypad and place it somewhere else) or a stuck button (which is permanently pressed).

In any case, please contact customer support and follow up with them. This forum is focused on developer related issues.
