How to enable hands-free unlock with Nuki Smart Lock 4 Pro in HomeKit/Matter (iOS 18)?

  1. This feature requires an “ultrawide band compatible lock”. Nuki locks currently do not have UWB hardware built in.

  2. This is not working in iOS18 yet, because it builds on a new standard (called Aliro) which is not released yet.
