Hello,
I apologize for the question, but I’m not entirely clear about Apple’s requirement for Homekit mode.
I have searched the internet, but have not found any information. If I am using a smart device in Homekit mode, I understand that Apple requires its own unique authentication and encryption methods (based on very strict principles). Does this mean that the functionality of the whole device is “changed”? Does it transform the encryption generated by Nuki or are the two different? Does the device store the “code” needed to unlock the apple separately and is the code generated by Nuki also stored separately?
