I’ve gotten the Nuki Opener and Nuki bridge for the intercom system of my apartment building. When I use the app first and activate “ring to open” , it works great.
However, I want to put it in continuous mode.
My appartment has two positions with a door that can be buzzed open. The first gate where you dial my phone appartment number to ring gets you inside my appartment building’s outside area. I will call that Door 1.
After that there is a door with a normal doorbell where you can be buzzed into the building. I will call that Door 2.
Both also have an intercom that still works perfectly.
On continuous mode Door 2 works great and as it should. You ring and the door buzzes open.
Ringing the bell on door 1 is where the problems lies.
The Nuki system keeps buzzing you in. Luckily there is a stop button on the doorbell outside, else it just keeps buzzing you in over and over again for minutes.
Bzz, Bzz Bzz, Bzz, Bzz and so on.
When ringing that doorbell you hear a dial tone on the speaker, as if you called someone on the regular telephone until someone has picked up the intercom. If no one picks up it stops after a certain time.
I am not sure, but I think that is where the problem lies. The doorbell maybe gives signals of a doorbell repeatitly.
Does anyone know how to solve this, as it will drive neighbours on the ground floor nuts?
Is there maybe a way to put in the settingsthat once it is used one time it gets blocked for 2 minutes or something like that?
Your help will be mutch appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
