You can update your Fob by applying following steps:

  1. Go into the Manage my devices-section within the Nuki App
  2. Select the Fob
  3. Follow the instructions to connect to your Fob
  4. Go to the Settings-page
  5. There you should see an available Firmware update and get guidance for the installation

Hello!
Very thanks for the response! I have done this yesterday, and my two fobs are already on 1.6., do the fobs making Firmware updates itself!? And a little side question, is there a way to see, how the battery load is, or when it goes empty?

Hi @Rose_Languste ,

you have to first add your Fob to the Beta group.
To do so you have to send me the Nuki ID of your Fobs - please follow following process to retrieve the Nuki ID: How to become a Nuki Accessory (Fob, Keypad, Door Sensor) tester - #2 by Hanna_Specht

I’ll then add your devices to the Beta group and then you should also get the upgrade to the new version 1.7.0.

To answer your questions:

  • No, the Fob is not automatically updated
  • No, it is not possible to obtain the battery status / percentage
