Is it possible to speak to a technician?
I am interested in a Nuki lock for my business. In fact, I have already seen such a lock in a hotel and was very impressed.
It would be a big step forward if a system could be integrated where customers could independently request authorisation to open the door - similar to a hotel booking.
Is there already a similar option, or is there interest in offering such a function?

Nuki does not offer its own booking system, but integrates with many existing booking systems. Have a look at this page for more informations: For Vacation Rental | Nuki The Smart Lock
I use Nuki locks for apartment rent: 4 locks for 4 rooms, and one central lock for entry door.
For each there’s keypad on the door.
And bridge in the center, so that all locks are connected to cloud.
Now I can monitor state remotely, get notifications when guests use the locks, have history.
But most important part is that my system automatically generates lock codes based on booking calendar, and configures keypads remotely. Each morning my system looks at calendar, and for current day it possibly creates random 6-digit codes. Each such code has reasonable name so that it makes sense in notification and logs, and is sent to central lock as well as particular lock for a room. Each code has defined validity time from creation time until guest’s room exit time. So when the rent ends, the code no longer works on keypad. As part of work, my system also cleans expired codes, so that the locks have configured only valid codes. That means that my main room can react to 4 different codes at same time, different for each guest. I wanted each guest to get only one code for main door and room door.
When the system generates a code, it sends me email, and I send the code to visitors (more automation would be welcome, but Booking doesn’t reveal me customer’s phone unless I search it manually, I still work on this part).
About my system: I’m programmer, so I could make an app on a server that utilizes Nuki cloud API to work with my Nuki locks remotely, manage calendars, etc.
I understand that not everyone is a programmer, so in such case you may probably utilize Nuki paid service doing similar renting tasks, or you can generate and setup the codes manually in Nuki web app if your renting has low volume of visits. Using Nuki web management is free.
