Door unlocking after flight mode was disabled

Previous to iOS 15 I could have flight mode and then disabled and it wouldn’t have any effect. Now, with iOS 15, when my wife wakes up and toggles off flight mode the door opens immediately assuming that she was out and then got close (geofencing) when she didn’t.

This is a major issue because she likes to sleep with flight mode on and it’s very uncomfortable to have to rush to the door when she wakes up just because the door opened.

Same for me or even if iPhone was powered off and then on again.
