Different status between Apple Home and Nuki app

Hello,

I’m using the Nuki Lock Pro 5th gen and I have sometime a different status between the Apple Home app and the Nuki app, and this happens when someone uses a physical key to lock or unlock the door.

The status in the Nuki app is correct (manually locked or unlocked in the activity log) but the one in the Apple Home App is not.

What can be done to always have the correct updated status in the Apple Home app?

Do you see the same behavior when you turn the Smart Lock manually on the inside on its knob?

Do you see the same behavior when you lock the Smart Lock by using the button on the Smart Lock?

While testing please wait ~15s in between lock actions in order to give Apple Home some time to sync the change.

Please also join the beta program and check if you have the same problem with the latest beta (which contains updates of the Matter implementation).
