Nuki 4.0 and 4.0 Pro series locks
Summary
The Nuki Matter implementation for the 4.0 series is unreliable. Never ripe a product at clients. Probably this is the reason why the Apple Stores still sell the Nuki lock 3.0 version. Suggestion: Nuki to drop Matter support until they managed to get it fast and reliably working, as is advertised.

For the time being, bring back Apple HomeKit, so “either / or”, like for example as done by Philips Hue
Reason
The Nuki Matter implementation is, to say the least…., unreliable, it needs many, many attempts to get the Nuki lock “registered” in Apple Home and when it finally is registered, within a few days it looses “contact” and becomes “unreachable”
