Bridges need many tries to connect to UniFi Access Points

In our office, we are using three Nuki Bridges in a UniFi WiFi setup. All bridges have been updated to firmware 2.4.8 / WiFi firmware 2.1.4.

Unfortunately, all three of them struggle with connecting to our WiFi. Multiple connection attempts fail, until suddenly the bridge connects. The logs usually look like the following:

Once the WiFi is connected (takes up to 15 minutes), it’s stable and the bridge works as intended. Do you have any idea on what may be causing this issue? Our WiFi is pretty reliable otherwise.

Thank you!

Hi Joshua,

Yesterday we’ve released the firmware 2.4.21 together with WiFi firmware 2.1.13.
Please give feedback if this is still happening after updating to this firmware.

regards,
Marc

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the quick reply - that sounds promising. Will do once I’m back in the office tomorrow.

Best regards
Joshua

Hi Marc,

For the moment it seems like the firmware update indeed resolved the issues. Will keep you posted. Thank you!
