Hi,
i have a Nuki setup with Lock, opener and Bridge which worked more or less properly. Since yesterday the bridge doesn‘t recognize my wifi anymore but till yesterday the bridge was connected to that wifi, Including static ip. There are still wifis from neightbors in the List and also my iPhone hotspot, but unfortunately not the ssid from my Home wifi.
What i tried already:
Restart Router and bridge
deactivated mac Filter on Router
delete settings for Bridge’s mac on Router
splitted names of 2.4 and 5 GHz wifis
tried to add wifi manually
reset bridge several times
The opener and the Lock are still working via Bluetooth.
Do you have soecial characters or space on the wifi name?
Or do you have special characters on the password?
Try to setup a simple wifi name ( no space no special characters ) and a simple password with no special characters.
Leave it on dhcp
( when i put on static, on the router, not works )!
Hi skmyim,
No Special Characters in Ssid, nor in Password. No Blanks as well. Everything worked till yesterday with same Ssid Name and password. As i have deleted all settings for that mac address on routerside, it should now use dhcp. But as Long as i do not see the ssid i‘m far away from this Point.
As there have been no firmware updates to the bridge it’s very unlikely that the problem is on Nuki side.
One thing you can try is to change the channel on which your WIFI operates.
If the problem persists, please contact customer care. This forum is focused on developer related issues.
There also have been no changes to my home set up or WiFi. The problem started for me right after last week’s iOS app update to 2024.10.1. I am by means no expert and currently everything seems to work again for me, but the trust issues are still lingering. And it also doesn’t help that there are currently so many other reports of the same problem. But I do appreciate the support, so thank you.
Hello Everyone,
i solved the problem in 2 apartments just editing the wifi network NAME and using pwd avoiding special symbols. It looks like NUKI does not like default pwd given by phone operators.
For me it worked both with standard kit (nuki + bridge) and with nuki with integrated wifi.
For me it is worked great doing that with 2 different phone companies, different modems, different nukis
